ODS secures big win with NCQA

As you know, The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) plays a key role keeping healthcare quality at the top of the national agenda. Its seal is nationally recognized as the premier symbol of quality, signaling to both consumers and employers that an organization delivers the highest quality care and service.

That’s why ODS is so delighted to announce that the independent not-for-profit based in our nation's capital has just granted ODS’ Commercial Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) the highly coveted Accreditation status of Commendable.

Says Dr. Csaba Mera, the medical director at ODS, “This new award is based on significant improvements in our performance on clinical effectiveness measures, as well as on rates of member satisfaction. Both HEDIS and CAHPS scores were key to this analysis.”

ODS routinely meets a rigorous set of more than 60 standards and reports on its performance in more than 40 areas in order to maintain NCQA's seal of approval. Says Gootee, “We strongly believe in the NCQA Accreditation process. We know it’s making us better than we have ever been at serving our customers. And, we are proud to have earned their Commendable seal of approval.”
